Courses
Fused Glass courses are held in my Horndean Hampshire Workshop with a maximum of two participants, the course is designed as a hands-on practical introduction to this addictive craft & covers all aspects of; studio health & safety, types of glass used,cutting & breaking glass, cleaning & preparing glass, using glass 'frit, assembling pieces for kiln firing, kiln basics & firing schedules, preparing kiln shelves, types of firing
At the end of the course you will have completed three fused glass projects which will be fired & slumped (finished items can be collected at a mutually agreed time ).
These pieces will be flat items; Two coasters & a hanging light catcher, and one slumped piece,either a dish OR a wavy sculpture.
No previous glass handling is required.
Price includes all protective equipment, tools, raw materials, refreshments, printed course notes
Bring your own lunch but drinks and snacks are available throughout the day.
